Kat Early embarked on her grooming career in 2012, initially serving as a bather while concurrently pursuing her Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In 2015, she entered the competitive grooming arena, rapidly ascending in prominence within the Canadian circuit. In 2019, Kat made her debut in the United States as an open competitor, consistently securing a position among the top 5 sporting groomers for multiple years in a row.

With a track record of success, Kat operated a flourishing salon for five years in Canada before relocating to Tallahassee, FL. In 2020, she established True North Grooming, where she is actively involved in the training and development of new staff, cultivating them into exceptional groomers. Kat’s passion for teaching blossomed in Canada, where she conducted small group seminars, and has since expanded through hands-on training and seminars in the United States.

Specializing in Cocker Spaniels, Kat is deeply passionate about breeding and showing these beloved canine companions. She remains dedicated to her competitive pursuits, maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence in the grooming industry.
