ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

IRINA “PINA” PINKUSEVICH
 

Irina “Pina” Pinkusevich found her calling as a dog groomer after immigrating from Ukraine in 1989 and working part-time as a bather. She honed her skills at some of New York’s finest grooming salons before stepping into the competitive grooming scene in 2006. Pina quickly made a name for herself, winning prestigious titles like Best In Show, Best All Around Groomer, the Lynne Carver Award (twice), and the Liz Paul Memorial Award. She also triumphed at the Winner’s Circle Jackpot in 2011 and earned the World Dog Show’s World Champion Award. From 2008 to 2013, Pina was a proud member of GroomTeam USA, competing internationally and helping her team win a Silver and two Gold medals.

Beyond her achievements in grooming, Pina is celebrated as a judge, instructor, and speaker. In 2014, she was honored with the Cardinal Crystal Award for Judge of the Year and the Barkleigh Honors Award for Up & Coming Speaker of the Year. As a National Certified Master Groomer (NCMG) with the National Dog Groomers of America, she also served as a Certifier for many years.

Pina’s passion for education brings her around the world for conferences, seminars, and workshops, including the PM Mastery Series with Ann Martin. In 2021, she launched Niira to provide top-notch, affordable grooming tools. Her journey with Groom Haüs began at its inception, and in 2024, she officially joined as Education Director and co-owner.

Pina is also deeply involved with Kiyara Poodles, Kerryfield Kennels, and Krizma Kennels, where she has bred and co-owned numerous champion Poodles and Kerry Blue Terriers. Her dedication to excellence and education has made her a beloved, well-known, and respected figure in the grooming community for good reason.

LINDSEY DICKEN NCMG

Master Groomer Lindsey Dicken has been grooming for 15 years, and has been grooming competitively for 13 of those. As one of the most decorated groomers in competitive grooming history, Lindsey has won multiple Best All Around Groomer awards and Best in Show at nearly every show in the US, Best Scissored Poodle awards, World Champion Poodle Groomer, and Intergroom’s Groomer of the Year a record 5 times. In 2013, Lindsey was awarded Groomer of the Year at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club.

Lindsey has qualified for Groom Team USA’s Top Ten Stylists every year she was eligible, reaching #6 position her very first year. She has been the #1 ranked groomer in the nation for 10 of the past 12 years, and has had the honor of representing the USA at the World Team Grooming Championship 5 consecutive times helping win three gold and two silver medals with multiple breeds internationally.

Lindsey is most known for her work on Bichon Frises and Poodles, however she has earned wins on nearly every breed allowable. In addition to competing in grooming contests, Lindsey breeds and shows champion Bichon Frises and miniature poodles, her Percheron draft horses, and is a highly sought after speaker helping groomers around the world hone their skills.

GRAZIA “GRACE” ADRIANI NCMG

Grazia “Grace” Adriani is a Nationally Certified Master Groomer (NDGAA) and certified groomer with the International Professional Groomers (IPG). She graduated from the prestigious Merryfield School of Pet Grooming in 2015, where she also served as an instructor for several years. In addition, she became a Certified Feline Master Groomer (CFMG) through the National Cat Groomers Institute in 2014.

Grace’s career was shaped by apprenticing under renowned grooming experts Irina “Pina” Pinkusevich and Michael Lamb. Her passion for handstripping led her to work with Teraz Kennels, where she honed her craft, particularly with Lakeland Terriers. Captivated by the world of dog shows, Grace has shown and finished several champions, including her own CH Teraz Bringing Sexy Back (Justin) and CH Teraz Gotta Have It (Velociraptor). She currently breeds Kerry Blue Terriers and Lakeland Terriers.

A competitive Open Level groomer, Grace has earned numerous accolades, including Best Groomed Dog, Best All Around Groomer, and multiple Best in Show wins with her Lakeland Terriers Dunkin, Deuce, and Oscar. She was honored as the 2020 Barkleigh Honors Up and Coming Groomer/Competitor of the Year after being nominated in both 2019 and 2020. In 2021, she won the Groom Bowl Amateur Championship at the Atlanta Pet Fair with the Zolitta team and was awarded the Peggy Harris Kindness Award at the Fun In The Sun Grooming Show.

Since 2022, Grace has held the distinction of being ranked #1 in the country for handstripping and was ranked #4 in the National General Ranking. She is a proud member of GroomTeam USA and represented the U.S. as part of their Travel Team at the World Team Grooming Competition in Belgium in 2024, competing in the handstripping specialty.

Grace is also a member of the Artero Professional Grooming Team and has established herself as a sought-after national and international speaker, sharing her expertise at industry events around the world.

Currently, she owns and operates the highly regarded Miami Beach Pet Spa, where she grooms, teaches, and mentors aspiring groomers. When not traveling for competitions or speaking engagements, Grace enjoys spending time with her Standard Poodle Penelope, Kerry Blue Terrier Kona, and Lakeland Terrier Velociraptor.
