ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Graduating from Merryfield School of Pet Grooming in 2014, Lindsee Amsden started competition grooming right out of school earning 3rd place in Career Start and 2nd place in Entry Sporting at the Fun In The Sun competition. She is certified in Terrier and Sporting breeds and brings over a decade of diverse experience spanning corporate, franchise, private, mobile, and veterinary grooming settings.
Lindsee has served as a veterinary practice manager and Head Instructor at an accredited grooming school, and has even guided small grooming businesses and students in opening and setting up their shops. Currently an In-Haüs Groomer mentored by Irina Pinkusevich at Groom Haüs Academy, she continues to refine her skills and help other groomers learn as an instructor. Lindsee has notable experience in animal behavior, skin, and coat, as well as being CPR-certified for both pets and humans, with extensive first aid and emergency response training, Lindsee is also currently working toward her NCMG and ICMG certifications.

Love that you explained why you went short, why you did this or that. To know that this is a dog that gets dirty and looks like this is helpful. Also, very very important for me, how often the dog comes to your salon to keep up this haircut because this is something I need to explain to owners if they want something like this. Beautiful job and presentation.

Wonderful course!! Lindsee shows how to trim trouble areas shorter and blended to keep the hair from getting tangled between appointments.
